Dilan Jayasinghe
Born and brought up in Sri Lanka, Dilan came to Australia in 2005 to undertake theological studies at the Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC). Prior to that he worked as an accountant in the Middle East.
After acquiring a Bachelor of Theology, he joined the BCCB team as Associate Pastor in 2009. Since 2012 he has served as the Senior Pastor of the church.
Dilan loves Jesus, His people, and spending time in the word of God. His hobbies include getting his hands dirty in the garden. He’s married to Faustine and the two of them enjoy going for long drives in the open country and Chinese food. One of their passions is to care for people by offering hospitality.

Phil Snelling
Although born in Darwin and growing up in Brisbane, Phil has spent half his life in Sydney. He has previously worked in industries as varied as entertainment, mining, government, and education, with degrees in Earth Sciences (UQ) and Theology (SMBC).
In August 2025 he commenced as Associate Pastor at BCCB. He previously served as an intercultural worker at Macquarie University (FOCUS Macquarie with AFES), the University of Sydney (euFOCUS) and overseas in Taiwan (OMF). Phil is passionate about empowering and equipping others from the Bible through creative, visual-spatial communication.
Phil is married to Miriam and they have two teenagers. He is an avid reader (of both paper and digital), writes with fountain pens, and rides a motorcycle. You’ll be able to spot Phil as he’ll be the one wearing a hat.
