Sunday 5-April-2020

We welcome you today to our online service of worship. We trust that the Lord will minister to you as you worship Him today.
At the end of this morning’s worship time we will be celebrating communion together though apart. If you plan to join in communion and you haven’t already done so, could you please arrange to have some bread / cracker / biscuit to represent the body of Christ and a small amount of juice or whatever other drink to represent the shed blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ ready for later in the service.

If you are new to this format, the idea is to progressively scroll down this page and join with us as we worship our God together.
If you are familiar with the format you can skip the next paragraph.

You will find links to various YouTube clips as you scroll down the page. Please click the play button (usually a white arrow head on a red button) to watch the clip at the appropriate time and join your voice in singing when it is a recorded song.
If an advertisement starts playing, let it display for the first few seconds and then click the Skip Ads button towards the bottom right of the song window. Another type of advertisement may appear as a rectangle of text. You can clear this by clicking on the small x in the top right corner of that rectangle. At the conclusion of the song YouTube will most likely give a list of other videos to watch. Please ignore this and continue to scroll down this page. If the lyrics are not displayed on the video, the words are included on this page for you to join your voice with the song. Just start the video clip and then progressively scroll down the lyrics on this page while you sing.

Welcome and call to worship

Our first song will be
“Before the throne of God above”

Offering

As we are not meeting together may we encourage our members and regulars to deposit/transfer your tithes and offerings to the church bank account. If you are new to our church there is no expectation of you giving, but should you choose to do so it would be gratefully received.

The second song for today is “Crown Him with many crowns”. Please click the play button to watch the clip and join your voice in singing when the song begins.

Pastoral prayer, Bible reading, Sermon and Communion

This morning Pastor Dilan will be bringing us the message “Remaining in Christ” from John 15: 1-17

The final song for today is “Jesus Messiah”. Please click the play button to watch the clip and join your voice in singing when the song begins.

Benediction

Want to be a friend with Jesus ?

The good news of Jesus is that we can be friends with God. If you would like to be a friend of God today by believing in Jesus’ death for the forgiveness of your sins… . You should talk to God in prayer. Prayer is merely a conversation between you and God. When we talk to God, he promises to hear us because he loves us. If you are not sure what to say… here is a simple prayer, but feel free to personalize it.

“Dear God, I understand that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, so I could be in relationship with You forever. I’m sorry for living a life without You at the center. Please forgive me for all my sins. I want to be your friend for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
